Winter 2026 Registration Information

Beginning 2026, in the second semester of the school year, all in-person High School Upgrading courses will be relocated downtown to 332 - 6 Ave SE, Calgary, AB (Bow Valley College downtown campus building). Enrol early - courses may fill or be cancelled due to low registration.

• Beginning December 8, submit the Winter 2026 Application Form and book a virtual appointment with an academic advisor. This form will be made available on our website.
• Semester Dates | February 2 - June 8, 2026
• All ages can attend all courses.

Registration Requirements

Students who are still eligible to attend their home high school are not permitted to register with Chinook Learning Services for Fall or Winter semesters. An in-person assessment may be required to guide initial course placement. This will be discussed and, if required, scheduled during your virtual appointment.

• Legal Documentation

Students are required to have adequate English language proficiency.

Fee Information

Fees must be paid in-person or through your MyCBE account prior to the start of classes. Waivers are not applicable. Diploma Rewrite Fees are not included in High School Upgrading course fees.

Summer School

Summer School is offered to students in July at multiple school locations. Students take courses in order to upgrade or to provide flexibility in their high school programs. Classes are held in the mornings during weekdays in July. Diploma Examinations are written in the first week of August.
