Refunds & Withdrawals

Attendance

Regular attendance throughout the semester is required for success. You must attend the first two classes of the semester or contact your teacher with a valid reason for your absence. If you are absent for the first two classes without contacting your teacher, you will be withdrawn to make room for students on the waitlist.

Refunds

Course fees include a non-refundable Program Fee of $65. A full refund is given only when a class is cancelled by Chinook Learning Services. Refunds are not issued after the refund deadline or for non-attendance. Textbooks must be returned at the time of withdrawal.  You will be invoiced for the full replacement cost of the textbook if not returned.

  • Winter 2025 | refund deadline is March 6, 2025

Withdrawals

For Fall and Winter High School Upgrading, students 19 years of age or younger as of September 1 of the current school year are permitted to withdraw up until the withdrawal deadline. After the withdrawal deadline, students will remain on the class list and the mark they have earned will appear on their transcript.
