Summer School
Textbooks are distributed in class and must be returned either on the last day of classes (at the location you are attending) or on the day of your Diploma Exam (at Nelson Mandela High School). You will be invoiced for the full replacement cost of the textbook if not returned.
All other learning resources will be provided and must be returned in good condition. All borrowed resources must be returned on the last day of classes (at the location you are attending) or on the day of your diploma exam (at Nelson Mandela High School). You must not write in, highlight or otherwise damage borrowed resources. Students wishing to purchase their own copy of novels/plays/workbooks (if required) can do so through an independent retailer.
Fall & Winter High School Upgrading
Chinook Learning Services loans textbooks and sells other learning resources to current students. Textbooks are distributed in class and must be returned at the end of the semester. You will be invoiced for the full replacement cost of the textbook if not returned.
Current students can visit the Chinook office at the location they are attending to borrow textbooks or purchase learning resources.
