Core Course
This course focuses on the same curriculum as English Language Arts 20-1 and English Language Arts 20-2, but with increased time spent on language acquisition and effective communication, both written and oral.

- English Language Arts 20-1 | Curriculum (Learn Alberta) for 5 credits, or
- English Language Arts 20-2 | Curriculum (Learn Alberta) for 5 credits, and
- Academic Achievement through English Language Acquisition Intermediate 15 for 3 credits

Attendance |
Regular attendance throughout the semester is required for success. You must attend the first two classes of the semester or contact your teacher with a valid reason for your absence. If you are absent for the first two classes without contacting your teacher, you will be withdrawn to make room for students on the waitlist. |
