English for Academic Success

This class is for Language Proficiency (LP) Level 2 or low LP Level 3 students who are no longer eligible to attend their home high school but have not yet achieved their high school diplomas. These students still need intensive academic language and skill development in order to bridge to other academic programming offered at Chinook Learning Services in order for them to continue to work towards completing their high school diploma requirements. The basis for this course would be the Calgary Board of Education’s locally developed course: Academic Achievement through English Language Development.
