For High School Upgrading & Summer School Students
Allow yourself sufficient time to complete your test. Students arriving more than one hour after the start of the exam will not be permitted to write the exam. For dates and times, refer to the following:
Photo ID is Mandatory to Write a Diploma Exam
To write a Diploma Exam, you must present picture ID. Any of the following documents are accepted:
- Current high school photo ID (Chinook or home school ID)
- Driver's License
- Passport
What to Bring
- A pen, pencil, eraser
- Approved materials or approved calculators required to write the exam. Refer to the following:
- A clear water bottle and small snacks.
What Not to Bring
The following items are not permitted:
- Smart phones
- Smart watches
- Electronic dictionaries
Diploma Exam Rules & Policies
Cheating
Academic irregularities during diploma exams will be reported to Chinook administration. Chinook administration will investigate and submit a report to Alberta Education. Alberta Education will make a final decision to award, or not award a score on the exam. |
