Alberta Education Resources
All students registered in Biology 30, Chemistry 30, English Language Arts 30-1, English Language Arts 30-2, Mathematics 30-1, Mathematics 30-2, Physics 30, Science 30, Social Studies 30-1 and Social Studies 30-2 are required to write a Diploma Exam in order to receive credits and a final mark.
- Writing Diploma Exams (Alberta Education) provides up-to-date information related to Diploma Exams.
- myPass.alberta.ca (Alberta Education) is a self-service website for Alberta high school students to register to write a diploma exam, view and print diploma exam results, order high school transcripts, and more.
Students must review Approved Calculators Only for Mathematics and Science Diploma Exams and Approved Materials for Part A Diploma Exams for English Language Arts and Social Studies.
January 2024 Diploma Exams
First time writers are automatically registered for Diploma Exams at the location where they attend the course. Advanced registration is required for rewriters and non-funded (international) students. Students are required to pay at time of registration. All students must confirm their registration status at myPass.alberta.ca (Alberta Education) prior to the deadline to ensure a seat is available at the location that they took their course.
