For Fall & Winter High School Upgrading

Priority registration will be given to residents of the Calgary Board of Education. Under the Education Act, a student is considered to be a resident of The Calgary Board of Education if the student is residing in the City of Calgary and not of the Roman Catholic faith (adult students), or if under the age of 18, at least one parent is not of the Roman Catholic faith. Priority registration in evening courses is also given to students over 20 years of age regardless of faith or residency.

Students who are still eligible to attend their home high school are not permitted to register with Chinook Learning Services for Fall or Winter semesters. Daytime courses are available to students 19 years of age or younger as of September 1 of the current school year. Evening courses are open to all adult learners.

Registration for Summer School 2023 is Closed

Families who have submitted a Summer School course request through their high school counsellor or junior Families who have submitted a Summer School course request through their high school counsellor or junior high school administrator will have already received their confirmation email.
