Understanding & Supporting Students with ADHD

LinkedIn

Fee: $69

This teacher professional development course will teach you about your students diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) by providing you with the definition and types of ADHD you may see in your students and by allowing you to analyze the signs and symptoms of ADHD in the classroom. You will explore what support for students with ADHD looks like in the classroom and also consider what it looks like when a teacher does not understand ADHD. You will learn about the CALM ( Culture, Accommodations, Learner-Centered, and Mindfulness) approach for students, providing you with numerous ADHD teaching strategies to consider as you work to support the students in your classroom. The course also comes with a downloadable PDF of the content and a CALM approach resource for later reference.
