Learn basic design concepts and apply them to build a small cabinet with a frame and panel door. Topics covered include mortise and tenon joinery, frame and panel construction, and the hinging and hanging of a door. Emphasis is placed on the safe use of a variety of hand and power tools in developing and improving practical skills. Prerequisite: Woodworking - Get Started or a working knowledge in the safe use of woodworking power tools and a basic understanding of the general practices of the craft. Supplies not included.
