Viking Knit Jewelry
1 Class - Fee: $125
The Vikings invented a form of knitting on one needle to make ropes, which jewelry makers use to create beautiful wire strands. Learn this simple yet delicate technique of looping wire around a dowel to make a mesh tube and stretching it into a sleek rope. Mix the strands into a multi-strand bracelet or to display a special glass bead. Fee includes wire, dowel, and drawplate. Glass beads will be available in class ($10-$40).
Instructor: Candace Prather. See Instructor Profile.
