Here is an excellent introduction to quilting! Complete a project consisting of four completely different blocks, in varying degrees of difficulty. Techniques include perfecting your seam allowance, pressing, half-square triangles, piecing and appliqué. Course supplies (approximately $40) can be purchased directly from instructor at first class OR email her for a supply list so that you can purchase your own.
Prerequisite: basic sewing skills.
Instructor: Valerie Moss.
We provide sewing machines for use in class. You may bring your own sewing machine and manual if it will make you more comfortable. Students should bring their own sewing kit (including needle, thread, tape measure, seam ripper, scissors), pencil/pen, and paper. All other quilting supplies and materials provided.
