For Grades 1 to 6 (July 14 to August 1, 2008)
Do you have a child who loves school and likes to be challenged? The Enrichment Program is designed to encourage high-achieving students by cultivating their interests and passions. Our teachers are creative and have strong curriculum knowledge. By engaging in enquiry-based learning, students make connections across the curriculum in Math and Science, and/or Humanities (Language Arts and Social Studies). Students use a variety of activities to undertake rich, genuine, problem-based projects, and demonstrate their learning in unique and creative ways.
The Enrichment program is for students who are performing at or above grade level, who love a challenge and have the drive to explore, question and manipulate ideas. Students will build skills that will help them become even more successful in their next school year.
Students should be registered in the course for the grade just completed. Student Evaluation Reports are issued at the end of the three week program. These do not affect marks received in June 2008.
