Refunds / Withdrawals - Classroom Learning - Fall 2008
- Fill out a "Request for Withdrawal" form in the Registration Office
- A $60 Instructional Supplies and Resource Fee is applied to each course and is non-refundable
- Fast Classes - Deadline to withdraw is September 5, 2008.
- Regular Classes - Deadline to withdraw is September 18, 2008
- A full refund is given only when a class is cancelled by Chinook Learning Services if you qualify for a refund and:
- Have paid your fees by cash, cheque or debit card, a cheque made payable to the registered client, will be mailed within 10 business days
- Have paid by VISA or MasterCard, you will receive a refund credit to the card used for payment
Refunds / Withdrawals - Self-Directed Learning - Fall 2008
- Fill out a “Request for Withdrawal” form in the Registration Office
- Deadline to withdraw for September Self-Directed is September 26, 2008
- Deadline to withdraw for November Self-Directed is November 21, 2008
- A $60 Instructional Supplies and Resource Fee is applied to each Self-Directed course and is non-refundable
- Textbooks/materials must be returned prior to refund
Performance Bonds - Fall 2008
You will receive a refund for the Performance Bond minus the $60 Instructional Supplies and Resource Fee if you
- Attend consistently and
- Achieve a final school-awarded mark of 25% or higher or
- Withdraw by the September 5, 2008 deadline for Fast Classes, September 18, 2008 deadline for regular classes or September 26, 2008 deadline for September Self-Directed classes or November 21, 2008 for November Self-Directed classes
Transfers for Classroom Learning - Fall 2008
- Fast Classes - Deadline to transfer is September 5, 2008
- Regular Classes - Deadline to transfer is September 18, 2008
- Transfers after the deadline dates will be considered only in exceptional circumstances. Please direct your request to Student Services
- Only students who have attended the Self-Directed Learning Orientation will be allowed to transfer to Self-Directed classes
- No refunds for transfers from Classroom to Self-Directed courses
Transfers for Self-Directed Learning - Fall 2008
- Transfers will not be permitted from one term into subsequent terms. Re-registration procedures and fees apply
- Transfers in the same subject area within the Self-Directed program are permitted by September 26, 2008 for September Self-Directed classes and November 21, 2008 for November Self-Directed classes
