Off Campus ProgramsSummer Off-Campus

The Calgary Board of Education has been working in partnership with local companies to provide summer educational and work experience opportunities for students. Students have the opportunity to earn credits during their summer employment. These credits will appear on students official transcripts.

Alberta Education recognizes the value of learning in a work setting where employability skills develop as part of job exploration and job training programs. Teachers, employers and students work together to develop student learning plans and evaluations.

Fields of Opportunity

Internships are great opportunities for students to explore a career of personal choice. Enhance your employability and technical skills in a workplace setting. Make an informed choice before committing time and money to post-secondary education, see Chinook Student Services Career Planning section for more information.
