The LRC is committed to teaching students how to use Library resources and information so that they will efficiently and effectively utilize search strategies in their research. We are committed to providing a rich learning environment that encourages critical thinking, inquiry collaboration, and resource-based learning. The LRC provides the framework for learners to develop Information Literacy in a self-directed approach to learning.

Orientations
For research assistance, and specific subject orientations, contact the teacher-librarian during regular LRC hours. The teacher and teacher-librarian work collaboratively to prepare an Internet orientation, Virtual Library orientation/or library research orientation that relates to specific course subjects and topics. The teacher-librarian provides the opportunity to develop research strategies and skills in information retrieval and technology. |
