- The Alberta High School Diploma
Learn what the minimum requirements are for a student to attain an Alberta High School Diploma.
- The High School Equivalency Diploma
If you are a person who is 18 years or older as of September 1st of the current school year and have been out of school for at least 10 consecutive months, you can earn life and work experience credits towards this diploma.
- The General Education Development (GED) Tests (external link)
A GED provides mature Albertans with the opportunity to earn high school equivalency standing which may assist them in qualifying for better jobs or for work promotions. In Calgary, the GED tests are administered by Bow Valley College (403) 410-1400.
Mature Student Status
Mature Student Status applies to a person who is 19 years of age as of September 1st of the current school year, or a holder of a previously awarded Alberta High School Diploma or equivalent. |
