 Vern Pauls
Vern has been teaching in our Workplace Training area for more than 10 years. He successfully completed Train the Trainer courses at NAIT to be able to instruct in both our Forklift Training courses and our previously offered Warehouse Level 1 Exam Prep. While new legislation is changing the Warehousing components so that they will be imbedded in other courses, the Forklift Training courses continue to lead to the Forklift Operator’s license.
Vern got into the Forklift business in 1973, beginning as a Forklift Operator. He has progressed through ‘sales’ and now is a ‘mechanic’ and trainer. He enjoys all of his students and their various backgrounds. His greatest reward is the enthusiasm, dedication and success of his students. In their evaluations, Vern’s students praise his matter-of-fact teaching style and down-to-earth presentation of the course materials. They often comment that “Money spent on this course was well worth it”, even if they have been working in the industry for many years.
