 Perry Chan
Perry is a 74-year-old retired structural engineer. He started playing bridge at University in Australia in the late 50s but only started playing in earnest around 1968 in Sudbury, Ontario.
He is now a Silver Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) and is also an accredited club director of the ACBL.
Perry started teaching bridge for Chinook Learning Services in 1998. He has also taught bridge for the seniors at Confederation Park Senior Centre and at Ogden House Senior Centre.
He considers the most rewarding thing in teaching bridge is seeing the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the students in learning the game of bridge.
