 Pat Furneaux
Pat was born in England and moved to Calgary in 1967. He worked in accounting for a while and then retired with the Postal Service. After retirement, he purchased photography equipment and started working as a professional photographer and photography teacher.
Pat was a self-taught guitar player from the age of 13. He decided to take formal lessons with Chinook Learning Services Continuing Education many years later and after the first class his instructor asked him if he would be interested in instructing his own class. Thirty years later, he’s still teaching. Pat is very supportive of his students and each semester Pat, along with as many students as he can encourage to participate, add enthusiasm and energy to Chinook’s Student Showcase event.
