 Michelle Roberts
Michelle’s technical background is in fashion design. She did her schooling at Kwantlen College, in Richmond, British Columbia, and then worked in the design/pattern department in a factory in Edmonton.
She continued to work for a few more years as a freelance designer for a bridal company before starting her current business, Dream Dress Designs, where she designs and makes wedding gowns and formal wear.
She said she is passionate about teaching, adding that it is her philosophy to always continue to learn and develop and grow. She has been an instructor with Chinook Learning Services since 1997.
Michelle says what she enjoys most is interacting with the students and sharing her passion for garment fitting and construction with others. She says it is really fun when she sees someone learn a new technique.
