 Estelle Stensby
Award winning sugar artist, Estelle Stensby, has over 20 years experience in creating edible masterpieces.
Raised in Australia, Estelle ran her own successful wedding cake business and has won many ribbons in various Australian cake decorating competitions. In 2001, she immigrated to Canada and has continued that success, bringing home ribbons from The Calgary Stampede Western Showcase, Calgary and Edmonton Festival of Trees, SAIT Culinary Salon and The Washington State Sugar Artists Competition.
Presently she is an active member of the Calgary Sugarcraft Guild (and past President) and the ICES (International Cake Exploration Society). Estelle has been an instructor with Chinook Learning Services since 2006. As a teacher she loves sharing her cake decorating knowledge and gets great satisfaction from the students’ results and seeing the enjoyment they get from their projects. In addition, Estelle enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, skiing and other creative pursuits.
