 Cheryl-Anne Priest
As far back as she can remember, Cheryl-Anne has had a natural talent and passion for creating warm and inviting spaces for her family and friends. In 1973, Cheryl-Anne embarked on a 33 year career as a Conveyancing Paralegal. During that time she also put her creativity and passion to work buying and selling homes (nine over an eight year period), carefully prepping and marketing each property to ensure top dollar - long before the terms “staging” and “flipping” had ever been coined.
In 2000, Cheryl-Anne obtained her Realtor® license and in early 2007 discovered a new industry that was taking hold in Canada that embraced what she had been doing naturally for years. Cheryl-Anne wasted no time in obtaining her certification with Canadian Staging Professionals and immediately started her own home staging business called Inviting Spaces.
Cheryl-Anne has always had a passion for learning and teaching as well. Since starting her home staging business, she was constantly coming across people who wanted to learn more about what home staging was and why it was making such an impact in the real estate market. This is what brought Cheryl-Anne to develop the course “Introduction to Home Staging” for Chinook Learning Services, offering the course continuously since 2008 and enjoying a great sense of accomplishment and purpose in sharing her skills with students.
