Post-Secondary Preparation Workshop (Ages 15-18)
1 Class - Fee: $69
Choosing a post-secondary institution can be confusing and overwhelming and the application procedures can be equally daunting. As you look ahead to future learning opportunities, this course will help you discover ways to decide which program best suits your interests, learn how to manoeuvre through the admission process, find out about scholarships and how to apply to residence. Our two instructors, both university academic advisors, will also demystify the routes of bridging programs and institutions. This course is intended for a variety of Junior and Senior High School students, including those not in the regular high school system. You may decide after this workshop to register into the follow up course to fine tune your decisions and have your individual questions answered. The fee includes a parent, but their attendance is optional.
