Haven't sewn since you were in school, or never sewn before? Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in this beginner sewing course. Starting with the basics, make a tote bag, an easy skirt and learn how to use and maintain your sewing machine. Make lots of samples of the techniques you learn to keep for future reference. See and try the little tricks to make your sewing experience fun and relaxing.
We provide sewing machines for use in class. You may bring your own sewing machine and manual if it will make you more comfortable. Students should bring their own sewing kit (including needle, thread, tape measure, seam ripper, scissors), pencil/pen, and paper. Students will provide their own supplies. This will be discussed in class.
