Felt Making

3 Class - Fee: $149

Felting is one of the oldest ways of making fabric and is thought to have been around for about 8000 years. Today felt is still used in many parts of the world to make yurts, rugs, hats and other items. Learn how to crochet and then process (or shrink) your wool to create a five-inch square felt purse. When your purse is assembled, learn the intricate technique of needle felting to create a beautiful, one of a kind design. Some homework is required.

Instructor: Suzanne Shaw. See Instructor Profile.
