Fashion Design - Drafting & Draping - New
26 Classes - Fee: $469
Learn the basic skills to become a designer. You will begin with your accurate set of body measurements to draft your personal pattern. This pattern will become your master pattern from which you will learn how to design wearable garments. These will includes bodices with sleeves, skirts and pants with many different styling details including pockets, waistbands, yokes and hem lengths. Trial garments will be constructed for fitting purposes. Intermediate sewing skills required. This is not a sewing course, but rather a creative design course. Many instructors will bring their expertise to these classes.
