Summer Off-Campus Teaching Positions
Chinook Learning Services invites teachers to apply for a six-week teaching assignment offering Work Experience and Registered Apprenticeship programs (RAP) for senior high school students.
The Summer Off-Campus Program is open to teachers who are currently teaching and have a continuous contract with CBE or have previously taught with CBE.
Assignments include the following:
- Working from July 5 to August 13, 2010
- Working a variety of hours ranging from Sunday to Saturday depending on students’ work schedules and employers’ needs
- Supervising a specific number of students throughout the program
- Traveling to a variety of employment locations on a daily basis
- Working with students and employers to ensure a positive learning environment
- Mentoring and advocating for your students
- Keeping detailed written records and student files
- Assessing and evaluating students

- Those who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of Off-Campus programs
