Basic Computing Skills

Fee: $375 or $399 for courses that begin after September 1, 2026.

Take the first step toward feeling confident with computers! Our Basic Computing Skills course is an introductory, instructor-led program designed for individuals who are new to using computers. This easy, hands-on course will help you understand how computers work, how to use a mouse, and how to navigate the Windows operating system. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions and engage in practice, ensuring you fully grasp the material. Your success is our priority! All reference materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed. This course is perfect for building the skills and confidence you need to tackle additional courses. This practical course covers:

• Getting started with the Internet
• Getting started with Microsoft Outlook
• Getting started with Microsoft Windows
• Getting started with Microsoft Word
