One of the following legal documents must be presented each term before registration can be confirmed.
- Adoption Certificate
- Canadian Birth Certificate
- Canadian Citizenship Card
- Canadian Citizenship Certificate (pages 1 & 2)
- Canadian Passport
- Certificate of Indian Status
Permanent Resident
One of the following legal documents must be presented each term before registration can be confirmed.
- Confirmation of Permanent Residence
- Permanent Resident Card (front & back)
Convention Refugee/Protected Person
All of the following legal documents must be presented each term before registration can be confirmed.
- Students Under 18 Years Old as of September 1, 2025
- Student’s Notice of Decision, Parent’s Notice of Decision, Birth Certificate.
- Students 18 or 19 Years Old as of September 1, 2025
- Student’s Notice of Decision, Study Permit or Work Permit that authorizes attending secondary studies, Parent’s Work or Study Permit, Birth Certificate.
- Students 20 years Old or Older as of September 1, 2025
- Student’s Notice of Decision, Study Permit or Work Permit that authorizes attending secondary studies.
Refugee Protection Claimant
All of the following legal documents must be presented each term before registration can be confirmed.
- Students Under 18 Years Old as of September 1, 2025
- Refugee Protection Claimant Document, Parent’s Refugee Protection Claimant Document and Birth Certificate.
- Students 18 or 19 Years Old as of September 1, 2025
- Refugee Protection Claimant Document, Study Permit or Work Permit that authorizes attending secondary studies, Parent’s Work or Study Permit, Birth Certificate.
- Students 20 Years Old or Older as of September 1, 2025
- Refugee Protection Claimant Document, Study Permit or Work Permit that authorizes attending secondary studies.
Other Temporary Residents
All of the following legal documents must be presented each term before registration can be confirmed.
- Students Under 20 Years Old as of September 1, 2025
- Alberta Health Care Card
- Proof of Address
- Student’s Visitor Record that authorizes attending secondary studies or Study Permit, Student’s Passport, Parent’s Work or Study Permit, Parent’s passport, birth certificate.
- Students 20 Years Old or Older as of September 1, 2025
- Alberta Health Care Card
- Proof of Address
- Student’s Study Permit or Work Permit that authorizes attending secondary studies, Passport.
