Janet Desautels

Janet Desautels is a successful entrepreneur and adult educator with many years of experience and practice in communication and interpersonal skills.

Janet acquired extensive corporate leadership experience in the insurance industry in Calgary. In this context, she attained valuable, solution-oriented experience in negotiation, collaboration, conflict resolution, teamwork, and decision-making through her involvement in all aspects of the claims settlement process. Her philosophy is incorporated into her facilitating approach: “Engage, Connect and Collaborate.”

Janet has created and managed four companies and worked in varied environments (corporate, retail, home-based business) She brings a broad perspective to her teaching and shares her insights in a warm, engaging manner.
