Dawn Dickson |

BA, BEd
 Dawn Dickson began her career as a teacher and then moved into the school library. She has been working in libraries at the Calgary Board of Education since 2009 in both elementary and middle school environments. She has successfully evolved libraries into learning commons in both settings. Dawn has been providing professional development to library staff at conferences and other events since 2016. She began teaching this course in 2020 and was a guest instructor for several years before that. Dawn is a passionate champion of creating learning commons that are welcoming, engaging, inclusive, and safe for all. She shares her experience and expertise with enthusiasm and joy.
