Workforce Employability Skills

Smart Work Ethics (SWE)The 24-hour SWE program is designed to develop soft-skills for those already in the workplace, those about to enter the workplace, and those who may be re-entering the workplace.

From making a good first impression to knowing what interpersonal skills are required in today’s workplace, employees need to be aware of what their employers look for, look at, and measure when it comes to hiring, keeping, and promoting staff.

Employee responsibility is often the missing vital link in the working arena. The SWE program consists of the "need to know" essentials for today’s workplace, regardless of where that workplace is. These universal standards for thriving in a work environment will be presented and discussed, and participants will develop an understanding of what employers want and look for in employees to dramatically reduce costly turnover, in addition to building great teams.

This program may qualify for the Canada-Alberta Job Grant.
