Course Description

PowerPoint - Level 2 is an advanced, instructor-led Microsoft Office course designed for individuals who want to make their presentations more engaging, polished, and memorable. This course is ideal for learners looking to go beyond basic slides to create professional, visually compelling presentations. This hands-on course builds advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills used in today’s workplace. This practical course covers:  

  • Customizing design templates  
  • Adding tables and charts  
  • Working with media  
  • Building advanced transitions and animations  
  • Finalizing, securing and distributing a presentation  
  • Modifying presentation navigation  

Through live instruction and hands-on practice, participants will gain advanced presentation skills that elevate their Microsoft Office proficiency and provide the tools to create and deliver content effectively, in any situation.

Lesson 1: Customizing Design Templates 

  • Modify Slide Masters & Layouts: Adjust your slides to match your style and branding. 
  • Modify Notes & Handout Masters: Customize printed materials and speaker notes. 
  • Add Headers & Footers: Include titles, dates, or page numbers for clarity. 

Lesson 2: Adding Tables 

  • Create Tables: Organize information clearly in your slides. 
  • Format Tables: Make tables easy to read and professional-looking.
  •   Insert Tables from Other Office Apps: Bring in data from Word or Excel. 

Lesson 3: Adding Charts 

  • Create Charts: Turn numbers into visuals that are easy to understand. 
  • Format Charts: Adjust colours, styles, and labels for impact. 
  • Insert Charts from Excel: Import Excel charts directly into your slides. 

Lesson 4: Working with Media 

  • Add Audio: Include sounds to enhance your presentation. 
  • Add Video: Make slides more engaging with video content. 
  • Add Screen Recordings: Show processes or demos directly in your slides. 

Lesson 5: Building Advanced Transitions & Animations 

  • Use the Morph Transition: Add smooth slide-to-slide movement. 
  • Customize Animations: Make objects appear, move, or emphasize key points. 

Lesson 6: Finalizing a Presentation 

  • Review Your Presentation: Check for errors and polish slides.
