 Sandra Vandenhoff
Sandra Vandenhoff is an audiologist with severe hearing loss and the founder of HEARa (Hearing Education and Rehabilitation for Adults). She knows from personal experience that hearing loss can have a profound impact on one’s life. HEARa was inspired from Sandra’s struggles and, more importantly, her successes with hearing loss. HEARa is a combination of her studies in the Doctor of Audiology Program, clinical experience as an audiologist, and work experience in the hearing aid and cochlear implant industries. Sandra has discovered there are many components that lead to success with hearing loss. Through her Hearing Bootcamps, she focuses specifically on auditory training, lip reading, conversation therapy, and communication strategies.
Sandra is dedicated to the idea that people need the right information at the right time to be successful with hearing loss. She is excited to share what she has learned and to help participants in her classes improve their communication skills regardless of where they are in the process of managing hearing loss.
