 Kim Poon
Kim has worked for Chinook Learning Services since 2005 as a Sign Language instructor, where his classes reveal his instructional talent for the deaf world reaching both the novice and the professional learner.. He has taught courses from beginner to Level 4.
For over 20 years Kim has travelled throughout North America communicating with people in sign language and learning more about their culture in the deaf world.
Kim says that Sign Language is similar to learning other languages like French or Spanish...as they are all used to communicate. In the Get Started course you will be immersed in learning ASL without sounds as in the real deaf world to experience their culture shock.
Kim and the deaf community also commend you on your initiative to learn their language. It will assist you in your personal and professional life experiences.
Kim is self employed in his computer programming business in Calgary.
