Karl has been steering back and forth between technologist and training roles for more than 30 years, 20 of those in the military. He has taught everything from productivity applications, computer diagnostics and how to use various Internet resources like eBay to highly advanced communications system troubleshooting. His audience has been right across the spectrum from absolute beginners to engineers and management. He dubs himself ‘The King of Analogies’, going the extra mile to use things you do understand to explain things you don't.
Lately, Karl has branched out into more creative topics and developed an improvisation workshop for beginners. He believes that the skills exercised in learning improvisation can help break down the barriers that exist in the corporate workplace by embracing failure, discouraging the blocking of ideas and promoting creative thinking.
Karl has never accepted the idea that some things are just too difficult for people to learn and relishes every chance to prove that theory wrong.
