Gillian Loban
Gillian Loban has been teaching arts and crafts in Calgary for 40 years and has taught at Chinook Learning Services for 5 years. She has worked with all ages and abilities.
Gillian has taught at the CNIB and with an organization for the mentally challenged. She has designed craft equipment to help people to continue with their crafts when they have suffered injury or stroke. This equipment was part of the Canadian Women Inventors display, which toured Canada.
Gillian is happiest when she can help others realize that they are creative. She does this by inventing simple ways of achieving spectacular results in her course: Art Works - Silk & Paper. She has taken many courses herself both in Canada and the United States and considers herself a perpetual student.
