Carmen Poon

Carmen Poon holds a Masters of Hispanic Literature from the University of Calgary. She has been teaching Spanish since 2000 and joined Chinook Learning Services in 2006. During her career, she has taught children, teens and adults in credit and non-credit courses.

She enjoys watching her students develop confidence as they begin to use the language both in and out of the classroom. In addition, Carmen likes teaching Spanish because she gets paid to talk!
