Literature Selection for Children
5 Classes - Fee: $199
The program content provides an overview and familiarizes the library assistant with the large body of children's literature from an historical and modern perspective. This knowledge helps to build collections in Calgary Board of Education school libraries, giving support to 21st century readers/learners. Explore different genres of literature each week. Reading books in these genres is a requirement of the program. Calgary Board of Education's Employee Funding may be available.
Instructor: Ellen Sears, MEd, BEd. See Instructor Profile.
