Summer School 2008 Answers
- How many courses can I take in Summer School?
One summer course represents a full-time program. To take two courses, you need special permission from your high school counsellor.
- Can I start my course late or finish early?
Each day of summer instruction is the equivalent of one week of a semestered high school program. Due to the already abbreviated nature of the term, no provision will be made for missed classes, or for the late start or early release of students. You are expected to attend every class as scheduled and to be present to write the final examination. Final examinations cannot be rescheduled.
- When will my marks be available?
Marks will be available the third week in August from Alberta Education. Non-diploma marks will be mailed to your home from Chinook Learning Services.
- Provincial Diploma Exams: August 6 - August 14, 2008
- Location: All Diploma Exams will be written at Viscount Bennett Centre
