English as a Second Language

You will focus on learning language that you can use. You will learn to speak with your homestay family, and with other Canadians, including Cultural Assistants and Calgary high school students who will be with you during your activities.
You’ll talk about the things you will be doing, learning the vocabulary you need to write about your experiences in Canada.
All of your activities support the language learning in the classroom. |
Study Location

| You will study at Henry Wise Wood High School (map) - an easy location to get to by public transport. The school has very well equipped computer labs and is surrounded by beautiful grounds. |
