This stage of the career planning process assumes that you have a strong understanding of what is important to you and have thoroughly researched a variety of career choices. You should now be ready to evaluate your options and make a decision.
Evaluate Your Options
If you have already used other self-evaluation resources and career research methods, follow these steps. However, if you feel you need further information on career options, consider going back to the exercises in the Explore section.

Review the results of your Discover exercises that describe your personal characteristics. |

Highlight all of the values, skills, interests and personal characteristics that best describe you from the career profiles you have printed |

Highlight all of the job descriptions, working conditions, personal characteristics and daily job duties that you think you would enjoy |

Read over your My Ideal Life (pdf) exercise, making sure that it accurately reflects your future goals |

Complete the Compare Careers (pdf) exercise for each career that appeals to you |
