Post-Secondary Scholarships & Awards

How Can I Qualify for a Scholarship or an Award?

Funding Opportunities for Indigenous & Metis StudentsMany scholarships and awards are based on nonacademic achievements or qualifications. Some scholarships focus on financial need, women, Aboriginals and athletes. Ask your employer, your parents’ employer, community association or your church if they have a scholarship program.

Enhance your chances of being awarded a scholarship by ensuring your application is complete and your references / essays are appropriate.

Chinook Learning Services Commitment to Learning Award

Each semester, students who have shown commitment to their learning, growth and engagement while studying at Chinook are able to apply for the Commitment to Learning Award where they could be awarded up to $500. Students are only eligible to win the award once per school year.
