Crochet Fun (Grades 7-9)
4 Classes - Fee: $129
Learn one of the arts of our great-grandmothers. Crocheting is not only relaxing and enjoyable, but you can become skilled enough to make items that are expensive to buy. Learn to read a crochet pattern as well as form the basic stitches: chain, slip, single crochet, half-double crochet and the double crochet. Start with small projects like dishcloths, coasters and finish with a floppy hat. Even the boys will enjoy making a hackie sack ball. This class requires no previous experience. Designed for kids, but parents and other family members are welcome. Fee is per person for supply purposes.
