Bead Jewelry - Family Affair - New
1 Class - Fee: $89 - Fee is for two.
You will learn the basic techniques for creating and finishing strands for necklaces or bracelets. Learn how to use nylon coated cable with crimps and a toggle clasp. Design will also be discussed in the context of the bracelet projects made during the class. The use of headpins for creating drop earrings, pendants or charms will be explored by turning the metal to create loops. These are the basic skills to get started on designing your own jewelry. You will have a selection of glass, gemstone, crystal and metal beads in your supply kit as well as three tools to take home so that you can continue to make your own jewelry for yourself or as gifts for family and friends. Minimum age – 8 years old.
