The name of the movement is derived from the title of a Claude Monet work. To do great art work in this style you don't have to be a great technician - the art from this era is vibrant and beautiful and you can learn how to paint like Monet. Gain a clearer understanding and appreciation of the stylistic elements from this era and learn why the Impressionism movement came about as a result of the historical context.
