International Summer School Student Positions
Chinook's Summer International program is looking for Cultural Assistants to work part-time July 2 to July 25, 2008. If you have a family member, neighbour, or know of students who might be interested in this position, please get in touch with the contacts listed below. This opportunity is for students going into Grade 10 or older. This summer opportunity gives students the chance to make new friends from other countries, visit great places, and earn money.
During the month of July, Chinook will be hosting a group of students from overseas. They will come to Calgary to learn English and also to learn about our culture and make friends. They will take English classes and go on field trips in and around Calgary. Cultural Assistants will go on field trips with the students, encouraging them to speak English and share cultures. In addition, they will spend some time in the classroom at Henry Wise Wood High School helping students by joining in fun activities. This is a part time job - Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Fridays.
