Earn High School Credits for On-the-job Experience

Alberta Education recognizes the value of learning in a work setting where employability skills develop as part of job exploration and job training programs. Credits are submitted to Alberta Education and will be applied to the student's official Academic Transcript.

Chinook offers Fall/Winter Off-campus and Summer Off-campus programs. Teachers supervise students while they learn employability skills, and this can assist students to clarify their career aspirations and to transition from school to work. Employers become valued partners in the educational process.
